So, give her a transparent steel sword. Make it magical, or maybe futuristic. :-)

Personally, I can't find too much fault in it. I suppose I'm more used to finding errors in cartoony, exaggerated drawings where it's easier to see what's wrong. Ah, well. It looks great to me, but ask everyone else, they seem to know realistic drawings better...
