You know, thats about the funniest thing I've heard today. Really, you just made my day a good one, after I was *censored* %$£%$£^$&^^%* *censored* towards our school's IT technicians that love to filter and ban every single useful site on the internet! They even banned search engines!

Anyways, a clan is not a barbaric bunch of people, I doubt it was so in history aswell, because your 'tribes' aren't always barbaric. Scottish clans exist until today even, and I wouldn't call the scots barbaric in today's life. Actually, thats the first definition of clan on www.dictionary.com

1. A traditional social unit in the Scottish Highlands, consisting of a number of families claiming a common ancestor and following the same hereditary chieftain.

Back to your question, clans are just a bunch of people playing computer games who have decided to ally to increase their gaming experience. A lot of people prefer team games over the normal game types, and the best way to play them is in a clan. Clans allow you to practice and play as a team, and loads of professional gaming tournaments are for clans. Jazz2 don't have any clan tournaments yet, but we still enjoy arranging matches between each other for great fun

Oh, before I forget, you should still look carefully into joining a clan if you consider it, because some of them can be as barbaric as you think
