Usually the person who created the tileset knows how to use it properly. Or if you cant contact them, hack into one of their lvls

Tileset tips
1. Good masking
2. Make it fun and interesting, dont use only 3 colors.
3. Make sure the tiles go well together
4. Dont make it look ugly (eyecandy)
5. If your making a book tileset, do not include tiles that have absolutely no use or nothing to do with the set itself. You get my point
6. Let it include the basics (signs, ground, walls, additional scenery etc.)
