I think the main thing about the posting funny stuff in miscellaneous,and the reason  ,is that things just AREN'T funny when you know they are THERE to be funny! 
Serious,when you know you click there and will read a joke or something then,´there's no fun at all!
Fun is only if there's a gag where jýou don't expect it!^_^
