It looks like you have a DNS server misconfiguration if you can't resolve jazz.logicware.com.
How are the computers linked? Is it a home network with a hub\switch\router? Or is it some internet connection sharing thing?
Check the IP address of your computer. In Windows 9x, run "winipcfg" and in Windows 2K\XP, run "ipconfig" from a command prompt. If the IP address is 192.168.y.x, your router should be accessible in a web browser by http://192.168.y.1 or 192.168.y.0
Ask your dad who set up the network and where the router manual is, as well as the way the computers are connected.
If your router dynamically assigns addresses with DHCP, your DNS server should be set properly, but if your network uses static IP addresses, you have to manually set the DNS server(s) to either the address of your router or the actual address of your ISP's DNS servers.
Do you notice problems with any other network aspects on this computer?
