I don't think this is something to worry about, especially in Defost's server.
The Anu thing was probably just someone using the ยง character to mess up the spacing in their name. And being not able to chat or view the F9 list, that has happened to me once in a while and it is not a big deal. Often if I just rejoined the server it would be fixed.
