Intelligent Explanation: He is actually using an advanced form of telepathy to produce various marterials used for burning in fireworks (to give them a colorful appearance), and also using telepathy to increase the tempuature, causing them to burn. The reaction of this is a colored flame of varying intensity, prividing him with a useful weapon and it looks cool.
