Mozilla started as an offshoot of Netscape. It's evolved into its own browser, more or less. Netscapes 6 and 7 simply run old versions of Mozilla with a few irritating bits in it.

Give Mozilla a shot. You might not even notice the difference if you use Netscape 6 or 7. Or try Phoenix, which is more or less JUST the Mozilla browser (i.e. no mail, news, composer, etc... basically, a much less memory-intensive browser).

If you're still using Netscape 4.x... that's your own fault, mate. :-)
