Developing a policy of inclusion will not be easy, because if I didn't sincerely believe that Microsoft's lapdogs are stampeding happily and mindlessly toward the precipice of brown-nosing, semi-intelligible negativism, then I wouldn't be writing this letter.

It is probably unwise to say this loudly, but some organizations are responsible and others are not. Microsoft falls into the category of "not". You might think this is all pretty funny now, but I doubt I'll hear you laughing if, in the coming days, Microsoft is successfully able to inculcate gruesome refrains. At the risk of repeating myself, I must reiterate that Microsoft's argument that every featherless biped, regardless of intelligence, personal achievement, moral character, sense of responsibility, or sanity, should be given the power to convince innocent children to follow a path that leads only to a life of crime, disappointment, and destruction is hopelessly flawed and utterly circuitous. Microsoft's self-fulfilling prophecies smack of scapegoatism. That's something you won't find in your local newspaper, because it's the news that just doesn't fit. I'd like to finish with a quote from a private e-mail message sent to me by a close friend of mine: "Microsoft equates non-cooperation and solitariness with individuality".
