Actually, I've made it more of a RPG-Adventure-Strategy-Something-Something else thing. It'll take longer to complete, but will be worth it.

Well, if you remove the whole RTP directory, including the vital files, what do you expect? Just remove everything in folders, like the default graphics and sounds.
BTW, the game has very nice graphics (by Cobra, I presume). Playing games is more fun when you know someone had to really suffer to draw all those animations.
