Chapter 3



Ax Man had awoke the following morning to find Wild Angel missing. Quickly recalling her story, he remembered how Devon was looking for her. Had Devon’s army taken her?



He quickly went to the wall where he grabbed his sword. He then slung the sheath over his back. He ran out of the house into the busy streets of Diamondus. He had never actually liked the place, but he was forced to move. The memories of his old home still pained him.



He used to have everything, a country home, a fighting school and many students. But that had all been taken away from him. That **** Devon! What right did he have to take his life? His soul? He burned my life! He burned my family and all that belonged to me!



Ax Man shook his head blocking out the memory. It was too painful. He continued his walk down the lower class district of the city. It was about noon so the market was painfully crowded. Ax Man started to push his way through the crowd when he bumped into a young rabbit carrying her groceries. Her Carrots tumbled all over the street.



Ax Man pushed his was past her without apologizing or saying a word. He could make out in the distance a quick profanity and a “he could have helped me” comment. Such it was with these city rabbits. Suddenly two strange rabbits approached him. “Well if it isn’t Ax Man, I heard your old woman moaned like a cheap harlot when we killed her” one of them sneered. The other had a look of sheer terror. This pushed Ax Man over the edge; he drew his sword in a mad rage. Without thinking he sliced, luckily he had only used the end of his sword therefore rendering the rabbit unconscious.





Ax Man ran as fast as he possibly could. Hw could they have known about his wife? How could those cheap city rabbits have known! **** them. He picked up speed bashing into another rabbit. This time he stopped.



The Rabbit picked himself up and swept the dust off his fur. You must be Ax Man am I correct? The rabbit asked inquisitively. Who wants to know Ax replied. Then I am correct, Wild Angel told me you have a sense of attitude. Anyway, I’m BBoy.



Ax Man’s mind was racing a mile a minute. Had this man captured Wild Angel during the night? What had happened? He better intimidate him just to be sure. Carefully Ax Man drew his sword. Quickly using all his speed he was behind BBoy his sword to his neck. Where is she you scum? What did you do with her? Ax screamed. Nothing, I found her last night; I can take you to her if you like. BBoy replied carefully.



Carefully Ax Man placed his sword back in his sheath. Take me to her BBoy Ax Man growled. With BBoy leading, they were on their way.
