Most know it by "Survivor", anyway. Referring to it by "Ground Force" might confuse more people. In any case, "Ground Force" makes it sound like your objective is to destroy the ground and make yourself fall through.
As for my favorite gametype, I would say Capture the Flag. It has more variety in strategies than battle, in my opinion.
