but in brief, SmoothJazz.com has adopted the affiliate marketing model in partnership with the Acorn Global Community.

Why?

The purpose is to raise funds for SJ.com AND the emerging artists (who are currently paid peanuts!) -- and the best way to do this, it was deemed, is through affiliate marketing... so the affiliates get rewarded for their efforts. Fair enough too.

New affiliates can join now (it only opened 1-2 days ago), and they'll become PROFIT-SHARING partners. More details at my site.
