Not bad at all so far, from what I can see in the image it needs:

1) Layer 4 Eyecandy
2) Extra Layer Eyecandy (Layers 5, 6, 7 etc.)
3) Layer 8 (You said you're still working on it)
4) Tiling fixes. The ground blocks dont tile properly, some tweaking could fix it, or if you're lazy like me just surround the block with copies of itself (to make a 3x3 tiled area) and press blur, MAGIC!!! THE MIDDLE BLOCK NOW TILES!!! I love that trick
