Question Devil Dash: Cut-scenes dilemma

I've got a program called ddFlic. It's supposed to morph .flc files into .j2v files. But the problem is that I am unsure about doing j2v files. You see, almost everybody knows that when we enter "ending" as next level, we'll get the JJ2 outro. But, when we enter "intro" (because the files are named ending.j2v and intro.j2v) the game says there is no intro.j2l level. So, is it just some anti-crash thingie which keeps players from opening intro, or only outro is programmed on that textstring? If the first option is correct, then everything is fine. But, if the second option is true I won't be able to make any movies for Devil Dash (except intro and outro which will replace the old ones), and then: 1) This won't be so cool; 2) The player will be able to play next episodes with stuff from previous ones. Of course both results are'nt terryfying, the level-engine-based cut-scenes will stay, and staying stuff can come in handy (as a reward for those who play previous episodes when the new one is released). So, what can you say about those darn .j2v files?
