I'm the moderator/bartender, but I'm really unhelpful (as you've just noticed) and I never do anything because I don't notice it and the only thing I do is yell and move topics to misc when they're not furry.
But despite all that, I'm supposed to be in charge.

Yes, they have been really nice, helpful and generally great. I guess you're one of those "rare females" on the board mentioned in one of the threads in the other forum. 
And...well...if you're the mod, you cannot be unhelpful.  I guess the admins know why they gave you the job...at least that's what I do when I am choosing moderators on my forums.
