Spaztic placed the wallet back into his pocket and sighed. He stared down at the street rather woefully, but his attention was suddenly diverted to a sound behind him.

Was someone there? Doubtful...how would anyone possibly know he was there? It was probably just some bird landing somewhere.

He continued to study the scene below and until suddenly he noticed a sharp pain in his neck. He felt weak, and wanted to stop standing. His legs trembled as if he was about to fall. His eyes began to shut but he could still hear. He felt like he was being dragged somewhere, then he heard a crashing sound. Did he fall off the roof? What was going on? Pain seemed to evelope his body.

He heard another bang, and then some far off screams that slowly faded into silence and darkness.

Spaztic's eyes opened suddenly. He felt panicked but was unable to move. He was laying on his side and managed to roll over onto his back. Pain shot through his spine, and he realized his entire body was covered in small cuts. His clothes were soaked. Not in blood, but in water. Looking upwards he saw the a shattered skylight. Beyond it - dark, brooding clouds. It must have rained. It dawned on him that he probably had somehow fainted and fallen through a skylight on the roof.

With great effort he managed to sit up. His hands were covered in dried blood, as was his back and legs. He looked around the room. It was quite well furbished for what he thought was supposed to be an abandoned building. Using a nearby coffee table he got onto his knees, and then finally his feet. He needed a shower and a new change of clothes. And some food.

Then the phone rang..
