Game-wise, I think what could do the trick is putting a good Jazz game on the Game Cube, especialy if a really good team worked on it. That kind of game is perfect for the GC crowd. PC gamers almost exclusively seem to want FPS games and strategy/RPG games right now, aside from misc things like GTA and The Sims. Jazz doesn't fit in anymore in the post-Commander Keen world of PC games, and I think that's one of the main reasons that sales of JJ2 were less than desired.
As soon as JJ1 became a hit and won Game of the Year, it should have immediately been licensed for other platforms. It was not. With the cheap and easy development available for the PSX (As much as I disslike the system), Jazz 2 should have had a near-simultaneous release on that platform. There wasn't one. JJA is too little too late.
I'll always want a PC version of Jazz, because that's where it started, but what we need right now are cartoons and consoles.
