Well, here's the deal with the glasses:
Whenever I'm drawing, I always wear my glasses on my head like that. However, since whenever I'm drawing myself, it doesn't matter what I'm doing in the strip, I'm still drawing in real life, and so my cartoon self always has them like that...
It's kind of my own joke.
