The old Saturday morning Sonic cartoon had little to do with the games, but it was a pretty good show, and it reenforced the fanbase a bit for awhile. Some of the old mario cartoons were quite fun too, and let's face it, there's not much you can do to mess up Mario (except for that movie...). The first Mortal Kombat movie was a pretty good conversion to theatre, as is Resident Evil. I can't say much good for the Tomb Raider movies, but hey, they're better than the games are
