Shinyso's head came up sharply as he sensed a great deal of malevolence, directed solely at him. He hesitated for an instant, long enough to discern that he was in immediate danger, and then he ducked and spun, bringing his saber up to block Tephro Charne's blade bare inches from his unprotected neck. The silvery-black rabbit's grin was predatory as he twisted his blade free.
Shinyso winced mentally. He'd been hoping to avoid Tephro, who probably knew it, too.
Tephro's eyes were as cold as ice as he met Shinyso's gaze.
"So nice to see you again, brother."
