I had the same problem, when I installed the game, and went into Jazz to play it on the Internet, I would be able to play for 30 seconds. Then it would time me out. Then I downloaded the 1.23 patch seeing as I had the 1.22 version. Then I installed the server patch and chagned the ports, and now it seems to work.
