Actually, this is a classic paradox. You go into the past to make the Pylon unnecessary. Now, in the future, the Pylon is never built, so you don't go beck into the past to make the Pylon unnecessary. Now the Pylon was built, so you go back into the past to make the Pylon unnecessary... See what I mean? Time travel is dangerous anyway. Saying you can go through time without any consequences is like saying you can blow up the universe without hurting anybody.
