I can't stop you on that one, since by the nature of infinity magic you could make other things that use infinity magic.

*opens another book*

In the beginning of time, all planes were one. Inside this one plane was infinate power. However, when the first creature, a single-celled organism, came into being, it made a choice. It went one way. Suddenly, the plane split. In other planes, the first creature went other ways. In yet other planes, the first creature died soon after, and in some of those, no more life ever came around. Soon, there were an infinate number of planes appearing, sharing the infinate energy of the first plane. In these planes the energy soon was all sucked into the forming stars and radiated off with the sunlight. Such energy, called mana, was only available in small amounts, since inside the stars it was locked too tightly away. Everything, however, was going fine till someone, eons later, discovered the basis of infinity magic.

Infinity mages, to get their energy, draw it from the beginning of time. This gives them an unlimited source of energy. This they do by simply going back in time, easy to them owing to the fact they lived outside time. To travel through planes they went to the beginning of time and went forward, off the path to another plane. This allowed them to go between planes and avoid even the strongest anti-planeswalking devices, since by the time they would get back to their normal time they would have been in their destination for eons, traveled through quickly by time travel. While they constantly cause paradoxes by their time travel, their infinate energy allows them to reverse any damage easily. Infinity mages can make themselves nearly indetectable, even to other infinity mages. But they have a limit; so beware all who try to become one- the infinate amounts of energy they throw around is much more than their body can handle. They block the damage with spells, but the same spells slowly damage their mind. An infinity mage is expected to go insane, no matter how well-adjusted for the role, in around 30 years.

That's why the gods do not know infinity magic- they are too smart.
