And she has, so I may be able to save this thread.

While Spaz was running around after Devan, Jazz had a score to settle with the Wicked Witch. He found a spell-proof spaceship and had it transported to the launch pad at the castle. As quickly as he could, he readied it for combat and took off.
Reports had said that Hilda had left the planet in her ship, the Doomspinner. Now, seated in the Firefly, he made ready to pursue her.
It was a copper ship equipped with all sorts of weapons; grenade-launchers, heat-seeking rockets, IONs, lasers, and many other dangerous things. He had bought the best of the best: he just hoped it was enough.

Devan, meanwhile, was onboard his ship, planning (as usual) the destruction of Carrotus. The Devan's Brain was his capital ship, and thus well-armed. He had a plethora of turtle guards, twenty one-turtle fighters, twelve freighters, two Devan Destroyers and sixty probes, not including the vast number of transports for the infantry units and ground vehicles.
However, none of this was paid attention to, as Devan set his scheming brain into motion. He knew (or thought he knew) that Jazz was going to show up sooner or later to recapture him, and he was going to be ready. At the moment, he was going over each and every one of Jazz's usual tactics, and some hypothetical ones, too.
No dragon-shape would stop the green rabbit now, Jazz was far too cunning when he knew what he was up against. However, maybe a small bribe, or a threat? Nah, Jazz was too goody-goody-two-shoes and determined to succumb to either of those. A kidnap! Yes, that may bery well work. Devan grinned inwardly at the simplicity of his plan. He paged his second-in-command. The scrawny turtle, who was his nephew Bevan, arrived otuside immediately.
He looked like a turtle version of Spaz, except he wasn't crazy. Now he awaited Devan's orders ("yeah, nunky?") eagerly. Devan emerged from his room, waving his new plans excitedly. "Lookit this, Bev," he said happily.
An hour or so later, Devan finished briefing his nephew. Bevan was bouncing with glee at his uncle's newest masterpiece.
"So, nunky, whaddaya want me to do?"
Devan scowled at the younger turtle. "Don't call me 'nunky'. So, I want you to take the Rabbiteater and the Furless" - referring to two of the transports - "both full of troops ... and capture Princess Eva!"
