That's just a bad remark in many ways. It has nothing to do with the matter you're talking about, it's also a debating tactic that doesn't further conversation in any way - it's just an alternative way of saying "HAHA I'm right! you lose!" without replying to people's points. You say you're debating but rather you're just throwing around remarks that do not reply to what people say.

Debating, which you say it what you want, is, however low debates so often go, usually a bit more sophisticated than this. It requires actual discussion with two- or more-sided traffic of ideas, not the one-sided direction which is occuring here, where a lot people say to you is not read, or not replied to in a normal way, but replied to with some remark that doesn't reply to their points.

Regarding this whole anti-'maturity' thing:

You appear to have adopted some sort of weird stereotyping of youth, of the meaning of mature and immature, some idealisation of acting immaturely where people who want to (try - not everyone has english has a first language - and) write proper english and listen to others and who value good discussion are somehow out of touch with 'normality' (not normal), not the people having adopted half-understandable english because they have this weird notion that it's the 'cool' way.

'Mature' is not an insult on this board, Michael. The idealisation of anti-intellectualism and anti-maturity that's been going the rounds in some places has not perpetrated this forum yet so remarks about people writing well being dumb/nerdy/stupid/whatever are pretty much humoured here.

PS, if Tublear wanted to suck up to mods he wouldn't propose (as a half-serious joke) banning them, or tell them he doesn't like them, and also criticize them on many other occasions (which is his good right to do).
