Anyway, about the jumping higher, stand in a spot where you can jump without hitting your head, directly facing a wall, press speed around fifteen times or so (basically, until you're playing the reving up animation) then hold down jump until you've jumped twice. If you did it right, you should have jumped very slightly higher then Jazz's uppercutt.
