$tilettø - get a program like Download Accelerator so that you can resume downloads, or use FTP with CuteFTP to resume downloads.
I don't think MS Paint can do pallete stuffs, and even if it could it would probably stink.
For some versions of PSP you can set your date back before the trial version expired, use PSP, and then reset your dates.
Or you just buy it.
