Chapter 2: You’ve got some explaining to do

“Who are you? What species are you? What are you doing coming through the stargate?” O’Neil said. “I am Ducky and this is my team of-Um-Who are you people anyway?”



“I am Slayer, Personal assistant to Lord Jazz Jackrabbit himself. I know much about you ducky. These people are my men and Unit 1 of the Diamondous Army. We were sent to protect you in case there was anything hostile on the other side of the device you uncovered”



O’Neil practically burst out laughing when he heard what Slayer had said. “Device? You sound like the United States army when Daniel Jackson started to study the Stargate. Please call me Jack.”



“Jack, There is much to report to my king about your kind. You seem like us yet you are more upright, what is the name of your species?”



“We are human, we come from planet earth on the other side of the Stargate. What about you?”



“We come from the planet of Carrotus. As far as we know our species are derived from the rabbit: an animal which grows on our planet” Ducky said



“Rabbits? We got those on earth” came the sarcastic comment from one of the soldiers O’Neil could not recognize in the darkness of the pyramid entrance hall.



Skaara came running into the village. “There are people near the Stargate!” Hearing Skaara’s call Daniel Jackson leaped out of bed and ran towards the gate entrance. Mounting the mastadge’s the militia headed out towards the Stargate Pyramid.



Arriving at the Stargate Pyramid the militia armed themselves with energy rifles and the rifles that the Americans had brought with them through the Stargate. Slowly they entered the pyramid. Without taking notice to who was in the Stargate Room the militia opened fire.



When Daniel saw who it was he yelled “Takri! Takri! Hold your fire!”



“That any way to greet us Jackson? After all we killed Ra”



“O’Neil? You got a lot of explaining to do”



Meanwhile on the edge of the planet of Abydos, “Pick it up you Horus Guards or I shall have you duel to become Anubis!”



The Horus Guards slowly raised the wreckage of Ra’s floating Yacht. Using their Blast Lances to blast away at the rubble, they eventually came to Ra’s Severed carcass. “Get him to Ra’s Eye”



The Horus guards on command carried Ra’s body to the transport medallion and they were lifted into the spacecraft. They slowly placed Ra in the only remaining Tomb of Healing left in the kingdom.



“Soon you shall live, my lord Ra”
