I'd think things that just looked really cool or cute would sell better than things that have any actual meaning. And sell stuff that people would want to by; most people only have a need for one calendar or mousepad as opposed to the need for numerous postcards and stuff.
... and if you sell a calendar, spell February right. People always kill February.
