3. Custom statuses don't grant any priveliges, you magical toothbrush.



4. If you were to have a custom status, and you were a magical toothbrush, someone from the opposite gender might give themselve a "magical toothpaste" status, which would leave you in trouble with your spouse and/or secret admirer. Not ideal at all.



5. Since many people in the world are still using shorthand, custom statuses will not be granted. ;-P
