Ok, do that standard procedure with the spyware stuff (SpyBot and Ad-aware, not Ada-Ware) first.

I'm gonna assume you're running them through Windows then. In such a case, I'd advise that "editing the .pif file" method. The consequence is that you'll be forced to play it in pure DOS (the .pif will automatically shut down Windows and restart it when you're done). How does that sound?
