Well, one of the main problems with Jazz living on to 2015 is the rapid developtments on the field of computer technology. In only a few years, computers will probably be produced that can't even run this game anymore. Jazz 1 is already only playable on most modern-day computers using things like turbo pascal patch or whatever it was called, because otherwise the computer is just too fast to run it. The same fate will befall Jazz 2 in time.
Also, there is of course the fact that the small community we have now will eventualy grow out of this game. Don't say you'll be playing this game forever, as you know you won't be. People grow up, develop and change their interests. Sure there are those who will/would like to keep playing, but with the group of people who still actualy play regularly shrinking rapidly, it just won't be enough.
And no, I'm not being pesimistic or negative, I'm just being realistic. I would glady have things be some other way, but bar some miracle or unforeseen development, it's just not likely to happen.
There's my two cents.
