You don't have the magic map in order to tell that.

I checked the machine for any more loose parts. Everything that could be removed looked like it had been removed and pocketed by some lucky gear-collecting adventurer.
I checked around the machine for Uberbob, Fawriel, and Leetzan. Evidently, they were still elsewhere, however. The only living things nearby were the plants.
