They're not "hoaxes" so much as "mockups". Dx has already admitted to editing the screenshots, that colorful fire is just another example. It's the "idea" of the levels rather than the atual content.
(which is not to say I approve. I mean, even the FSP2/3/4 screenshots were unedited!)
