Mmmmm... flashing lights...
There's something about standing in a darkened server room watching the gently rippling lights on the network switches as the packets trundle by. You feel as if you're watching a living organism, seeing information travel. You also get a good idea of when the network goes south at speed. Hint: green is not always good in networks. Especially solid green on the little light marked "ACT". Especially when they're all on solid.
...huh? Oh. Sorry. Erm... do what the extended ascii poster said, but without the bouncing or the pogo stick. And visit the Port-a-save. Saving is good.
