I tried my sliest slie. "Sir, do you know the stamp man?"
"The stamp man? The stamp man?"
"That lives in Super Uber Ultra Megatropolis."
"No."
"Aww."
I looked around. The frozen water had not gotten any lower or less frozen since I had last looked. The building had not begun to melt.
My nose, however, had changed color. To red. Red like blood, fire, and anger. Except those words all convey hot things, and my nose at the moment was not a hot thing. I pondered that for a while, then realized I was freezing to death by standing in one place pondering.
