I keep getting this same message: "Error connecting to list server"

I'm using the European version 1.24 of Jazz Jackrabbit 2 The Secret Files (NOT the KC Avalon release). Also, I've already installed the "Jazz Jackrabbit 2 list server patch" located here >>> http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/nod...yModeDownloads

So, what am I doing wrong? I've installed the required list server patch, but I still can't connect. Sorry if I sound like a total n00b, but I've been waiting ages to play online, so any help is much apriciated.
