LF, you could also use Dependency Walker to find where MSCTF.DLL is. Just look for the dll in the same place I told you to find the last time, right-click -> Properties (or whatever equivalent).
You could use CopyLock to make the replacement if the dll is in use. When you go to Add -> Files to replace, make sure the file you add (Source) is the MSCTF.DLL file I gave a link from before and the destination folder is the same as for the file you want to replace (you may want to make a backup first). You may also need to check Allow downgrades.
