A crinkle of paper, a flash of light, and the four of us were standing on the pier once again. Uberbob was there, too, but that's not important. The pier was strangely high above sea level, but considering that we didn't have a boat it really didn't make much of a difference. The city stood before us, its rich ambience calling out to us and bidding us to spend money there.
