I felt an odd feeling in my head, like I suddenly couldn't use that Haste spell I picked up earlier, but would able to jump across buildings holding a gun in one hand and sword in the other or something. It was really weird.
"Agreed," Uberbob said, shaking Fox's hand. The merchant smiled as though he had just sold us a used car. "By the way," Uberbob added, "could you open that door? It's coo' that we got in here and all, but it would be nice if we could leave now." Araches cast him a terrified look as though she thought he still had some sanity left and had just demonstrated its demise.
Fox shook his head. "M'sorry, can't wit' m' neutral'ty n' all."
"Oh well. So, how about north to ADVENTURE?" Uberbob charged off down the tunnel before we could respond, or ask how he knew it was north. We followed.
I halted the group. The tunnel felt considerably colder than it did near the enterance, though that wasn't why I stopped. Runes lined the walls and ceiling, similar to the ones on the doorway to Unfooruman's Citadel. In that case, the runes made it so we could not go back out; these were probably the same thing, but one couldn't be sure. It seemed extreme wanting to keep people in that badly. An ominous light blue glow came from the end of the tunnel in front of us.
