This almost doesn't seem to work because by changing 'socks' you are, in a sense, changing the intended meaning of the word. Instead of sounding like "You rocks my socks" it now sounds like "You rocks my sucks." Which... doesn't make any sense AND gives it a negative feel instead of a positive one. So if 'sux' means sucks than what happened to the O --> U replacement? Wouldn't it go backwards and make it 'sox' which, once again, changes the word.
Does this apply to other, non-descriptive words? For example can you make such words as 'chicks' into 'chix'. Or how about the word 'room'? 'Ruum' just sounds like a drunk pirate. Or do you need the  CKS combination for this to work?
I am not used to this kind of "Internet slang". Sorry for going off topic but I really don't know about this stuff.
Also... am I reading into this too far?
