Well jj2 & 1 are a mix of some great old platform games (mario, sonic, aladdin, megaman, book of the jungle, etc.) with a Bucky O'Hare rip-off character, and on the story of the turtle vs. rabbit tale & star wars (cough... deckstar, bounty hounter, princess cough).  But with this mix, the games turned out quiet original, with new stuffs too.  I'm only feel sorry for that, they didn't used the robot riding idea from Megaman X.

I've been always tought on that why EWJ2 & JJ2 has the same weapon in the game? That weapon has a root in something and both of two games used the idea, or just one of them ripped the other?
