I would like to present a myth that I thought of a lot recently:
Is a wall-less RF climb possible?

Theoretically, the player should equip RFs (preferably powered up) and run in one direction, then jump and at the right height turn to the other side and shoot. If done right, rockets should fly in the same direction as the player, but make little distance. Then, the player has to be at exactly right point so he will be propelled to the other side with running speed and a bit upwards too. To this moment, I was able to accomplish the trick. But the next and every other part is darn difficult... After being thrown off the player should do the same trick, but to the other side. Then again, and again... That's theory. But practically, is that even possible?
