Here's the re-test of the Trigger Myth from the first page. Read and learn if you haven't done so.

Trigger Crate: the standard trigger mechanism. Only goes one way (you can't use another crate to reset the trigger), works with ID=0.
Trigger Zone: the other trigger mechanism. Has three parameters: OnOff, Switch, ID. OnOff is what reverses the trigger: OnOff = 1 is the regular setting, OnOff = 0 resets the trigger. Switch is useless, and you know the ID parameter. Trigger Zones do not work when ID = 0, *THAT* is what the DYK? was refering to.

What I did was this:
Experiment 1:
Trigger Scenery with ID = 0
Trigger Zone with ID = 0, OnOff = 1
Result:
After walking through the Trigger Zone nothing happened: nothing triggered.
Experiment 2:
Trigger Scenery with ID = 1
Trigger Zone with ID = 1, OnOff = 1
Result:
This time the Scenery did trigger
Experiment 3
Trigger Scenery with ID = 0
Trigger Crate with ID = 0
Result:
After destroying the crate the Scenery was triggered.
Conclusion: Only Trigger Zones don't work when ID = 0, Trigger Crates do work.
Myth Confirmed.

By the way, the key to a good and working profession is to be able to take criticism, be it good or bad (especially the bad). As I read the first rule, I get the feel you're like "We're professionals, you're just idiots, neener neener neener".
