Controller is primarily meant to be a helpful tool used by the servers to ease the hosting. While it does allow some functionality to be used as clients, its not even nearly the number of features the server can use.

There has been a discussion on higher res jj2 in the past and from my experience people didn't like the idea. If a patch like this is released then it's only right that we make it available to everyone which may not be *that* easy to do. If it's not released then certain people will probably use/spread it anyway once its secretly made, but I guess we you won't know that for sure as long as the users keep quiet.

I wonder where Aiko is with his anti-jj2-high-res-whine spell this time. He's the one who disliked the idea most.
