The discussion was brought up by me that the very existence of the Comedy Cafe is counterproductive to the funniness in our forums.
The reason, for me, is that threads being in CC automatically takes away from their element of surprise, as one will already expect a thread trying to be funny. This makes most threads less surprising and completely defeats the point of threads that want to seem like they are serious at the first glance.

So, I'm interested in how you feel about this.
