You got something wrong - the people who claim to own the game are idiots for thinking so. This is a game intended for everyone, not some select group of people.

If a area gets leveled, life regenerates soon after. When the origional jazz list servers got closed, there was only a short delay before there were other list servers set up. Even if you succeed in eliminating all the multiplayer activity for jazz 2, just watch.

...really. I know the whole thing about life regenerating soon after, but I still don't think that JJ2 should be in the hands of people using players for their own little lab rats which they can kill or experiment with at any time.
And freedom of speech is great. Hooray for freedom of speech.
