I started trying to think of other ways to get the gems out of the room. "I'm going to try kicking it out," I explained to the party.
"I don't think that's a good idea, Shur. We tried something like that alr-" Fawriel began, but was cut off by Araches.
"Girl, that idea is redarded."
Despite their criticisms of my idea, I kicked the needle towards the door. Frosty spikes swiftly descended from the top of the doorway, blocking the small crystal's escape.
"Hey," I commented, "I didn't get stabbed. We're doing something right"
Fooruman stroked his beard contemplativelty. "I believe, Ms. Ken, that is simply because the gem was never seperated from its beloved floor or forcefully torn from its beloved room. Oh, the woe that must overcome a young popsicle to be seperated from its loving popsicle family."
Araches hesitated a moment. "I think he's more or less right, hon," she said, shrugging.
I considered what she was saying for a moment as I sat on the floor, bleeding. Perhaps due to blood loss, I suddenly got a brilliant idea. "Hey, everyone!" I exclaimed, "let's take off our pants!"
"I agree!" Uberbob shouted.
"Who is pants?" Fooruman asked.
Faw cocked his head. "Wait, what?"
"Our pants," I explained to the healer, "we can add them to Uberbob's pile of junk."
"Shuri, I'm going to heal you now." He placed his hands over my leg, calling forth a bright golden glow and healing my wounded leg. "We should try doing something intelligent, until you start to feel better again," he proposed.
