I walked back into the fountain room, feeling very uneasy about what I had just done. I kept replaying it in my mind - I just threw L33tz4n off a cliff into a pit of creatures. Presumably creatures with claws. And I beat her over the head, too. Was I going mad, like Uberbob? No - even Uberbob hadn't done this.
"Hey, Uberbob," I asked, my voice shaking a little, "do you still have that rope?" I kept telling myself that I was going to try to repell down the chasm - pushing other ideas regarding the rope out of my mind. If I repelled down, maybe I could help Leetzan...
"Why, YES!" Uberbob piped up cheerfully, pulling the bundle of rope out of his pocket, "Why? Did you find an ADVENTURE?"
"Er, yeah," I said, "come with me. Back to where Leetzan is." I lead him away from the rest of the party and to the north. There was still purple blood on the wall, but he didn't notice. "Hold this," I told him, "I'm going to try and repel down. Hold it tight."
As I fell I began to wonder how I thought one person holding a rope while standing on an icy bridge could support my weight.

Okay guys, Copper says this thread is getting hard to manage and wants me to start a ToU part 4 (of, hopefully, 4). This loadgame is a nice place. I'll make the new thread in a day or two.
